Fabric nontraditional wreath wall hanging featuring a cross and burlap ribbon
What do you do when you've been snowed in but want to craft? Well, for me, I rummage through all my craft supplies and make this unique wreath/wall hanging using materials I had on hand. I started with a bicycle wheel wreath form and used two different kinds of fabric to create this gorgeous and truly one-of-a-kind wall decor. The bird fabric is attached to a round piece of foam board that I then attached to the wreath form. I added a smaller metal hoop that I covered with fabric and a vintage sheet music that I affixed a cross to using wire. Finished the piece off with a burlap ribbon and some silk flowers. Most everything is either tied on or wired in place, reinforced with hot glue when I felt it was needed. Because it is predominantly made of fabric with a little foam board as well, I don't recommend hanging this in the elements. It should be fine, however, hanging in a covered porch or patio area if you want to display it outside. Measures approximately 18 inches in diameter. The entire length of it including the hanger and the ribbon measures approximately 34 inches long. The sheet music is organ music for the song "Just As I Am."
